Dear Students/Parents/Guardians

In light of the government advice regarding the corona virus, We feel that now is the time to update you all with our plans to ensure that students can continue to train safely, and as normal as possible. At present schools are remaining open and following government advice as to how to continue safely. Therefore we will be following the same line.

Training for all students will remain scheduled as normal at our usual venues and times, or until we are advised differently by the government or the venues.

However, there will need to be some measures taken to ensure that we keep within these government advice guidelines to cause as little disruption as possible to all students training.

Our training will consist of the following:

Controlled Environment - We as instructors and students can control the environment we train in to ensure we are a low risk group.

Solo Performance – this means that we will continue to teach patterns and linework as normal within the class with a safe distance between students.

Set Sparring – This will be taught as linework or in a non-contact capacity.

Free Sparring – This will not be taught in the class environment at present until advised otherwise.

Online resources – These will be available in the form of a visual aid. The details will be emailed to you shortly.

Outdoor Classes – If we are unable to use a venue and the weather permits, we will use outside venues. You will of course be notified in advance of this measure if needed.

We will continue to keep you informed of any changes immediately via email, text, social media and our website
